Thanks Everyone for a Great Screening
Last Sunday, March 14, over 250 people came out to see the preview screening of the film in Chicago. Without exception, everyone helped with an individual $15 sponsorship to help pay for the theater rental at the Gene Siskel Film Center. A lot of people who had filled both theaters at the Siskel Center stuck around for a great Q&A session afterward. Then I and some of my family walked down Michigan Avenue to a celebratory lunch at the Gage Restaurant and Tavern. Then a nap!
With the exception of a free screening at Ball State University (click on the “More Information” link below for details), I’m holding off on any more screenings until after the film is shown at two film festivals in Durham, North Carolina and Kansas City next month. If no distribution deal develops right away, I’ll be open to accepting invitations to screen the film wherever there are the sponsors in place to help put it on. A DVD will most likely not be available until the latter part of the year.
Please don’t hesitate to email me through the Contact page of this site if you’d like to discuss having a screening in your area, or if you have any other questions.
Again, your interest and support means the world to me, and I hope I can adequately keep up with all your inquiries.
Thanks to my buddy César Russ for the photo!
