Sullivan Filmscore Composer to Appear at October 28 Screening at Northwestern University

On Thursday, October 28, “Louis Sullivan” will kick off Block Cinema’s film series “The American Architect in Focus” at the Block Museum at Northwestern University. With me at the screening will be Michael T. McLean, composer of the film’s incredible soundtrack, and a 1988 graduate of Northwestern’s School of Music (in violin performance). It will be a fine homecoming for Michael, who will be able to offer some very interesting insights into what went into creating what I feel was as important to the film as its photography; a stirring, emotional and soaring filmscore.
